What we can and cannot answer

We are glad to receive corrections, suggestions and PDPA requests.

We cannot give individual medical advice by e-mail — no diagnosis, no interpretation of test results, no second opinions, and no treatment recommendations for your symptoms. A correct diagnosis needs a history and a physical examination by a doctor who has actually seen you.

For the same reason, please do not send personal health information, test results, X-ray films or medical images by e-mail. If you do, we will not use them and will delete them.

We do not take appointments and cannot recommend a particular doctor or hospital.

Emergencies

If you have urgent symptoms — a serious injury, a limb that looks deformed or cannot bear weight, sudden numbness or weakness, a joint that is swollen, red and hot with a fever, or loss of bladder or bowel control — do not wait for an e-mail reply. Go to the nearest doctor or emergency department immediately. Call 1669 in Thailand if you are too unwell to get there yourself.
