Privacy notice

This notice explains how รู้เรื่องกระดูกและข้อ (Easyortho, rueortho.vercel.app) collects, uses and protects information about visitors, in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA).

In short

  • There are no accounts and no registration. You do not have to give us any personal data to read the site.
  • There is no advertising here, and we use no cookies for advertising and sell no data.
  • We do set Google Analytics cookies to count who reads what. You can turn them off or delete them — see 4.
  • Otherwise we keep only anonymous, aggregate visit statistics, and any e-mail you choose to send us.

What we collect and why

1. Visit statistics (anonymous)

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect data that identifies you. It tells us, in aggregate, how many people visit, which pages are read, the country of origin, and the device and browser type. We use this to improve the content. Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interests (Section 24(5)).

2. E-mails you send us

If you contact us by e-mail we keep your name, e-mail address and message solely to reply, and delete them within 12 months of the last contact unless the law requires otherwise. Legal basis: legitimate interests and responding to your request. Please do not send personal health information, test results or medical images by e-mail — we cannot give individual advice.

3. Technical logs

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep short-lived technical logs such as IP address and access time for security and operation of the service.

4. Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager)

This site uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4, which shows us in aggregate which articles are being read and how people arrive.

This part uses cookies. The Google Analytics cookies store a random id in your browser so a returning reader can be told apart from a new one. What is sent to Google to process is the page opened, the time of the visit, the device and browser type, an approximate location at country or province level, and your IP address.

We never ask for your name or e-mail, and we have no way of knowing which reader is which. We use this to decide what to write next, and to find articles that exist but nobody can find. We do not use it for advertising and we do not pass it on.

If you would rather we did not, turn cookies off or delete them in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, which stops this collection on every site. Either way the whole of this site still reads normally.

Third-party services used on this site

  • Hosting: Vercel Inc. (United States)
  • Analytics: Cloudflare, Inc. (United States)
  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics: Google LLC (United States) — see 4
  • Fonts: Google Fonts — when a page loads, your browser requests font files from Google’s servers, which may see your IP address.
  • Video: YouTube videos load only after you press play; from then on Google’s privacy policy applies.

Using these services means some technical data may be transferred outside Thailand. All are major providers with internationally recognised data-protection safeguards.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties. There is no advertising on this site, we do not run behavioural advertising, and we do not use visit data to work out who an individual reader is.

Your rights under the PDPA

You may ask to access, receive a copy of, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to have it transferred, and you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC). Children

This site does not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has sent us information, let us know and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time; the date below shows the current version. Continued use of the site after an update means you have taken note of the new version.
